Immunologic Deficiency States

Basic Review of Mechanisms of Immunity

Immunologic deficiency states are variable, but several fairly distinct entities have been identified in recent years. This report summarizes current knowledge of immunologic development and presents several "new" diseases which illustrate nature's defects in development.

Concepts have been simplified to make them understandable and recognizable in an individual patient. This well written, up-to-date work by a recognized authority on clinical immunology and infectious disease will be of great value to clinicians.
