Toward a Philosophy of Child-Rearing

Helping Parents Develop Healthy Attitudes

This article describes an approach which I have found useful when lecturing aver age parents of average chil dren. Some of these ideas may be helpful when coun selling parents of children with serious problems also, though in those circum stances the giving of advice alone, without some analysis of underlying feelings, may be largely ineffective.
