Acute Glomerulonephritis with Minimal Urinary Findings

Lawrence Kahn

Clinical Pediatrics, Washington University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Saint Louis, Missouri 63110

A case of acute glomerulonephritis with no microscopic hematuria and mild pro teinuria. The illness was apparently post- streptococcal in origin. This case is re ported to provide additional evidence that acute glomerulonephritis may occur with slight or minimal urinary findings, and to indicate the diagnostic value of per cutaneous renal biopsy.
