Hypoglycemia Due to Sedation Following Clonidine Test for Growth Hormone Reserve

Life-threatening hypoglycemia following insulin administration to assess growth hormone secretory capacity in children with hypopituitarism is well known.1 We report hypoglycemic convulsions in a child with congenital hypopitultarism after the administration of clonidine to assess growth hormone reserve.
