Department of Pediatrics, University of Oklahoma, Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Two cases of pertussis complicated by the syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH) are reported. Both patients experienced seizures associated with hyponatremia. Patients with severe pertussis are at risk for SIADH and should be monitored closely for its development.
