Who Should Accept Primary Responsibility for the Encopretic Child?

A Successful Pediatric Program Based on Dietary Control, Bowel Training, and Family Counseling

Such a program was used to treat 18 encopretic children; 17 improved and 14 became completely free of soiling. Most encopretic children can be man aged by pediatricians and only those children with severe emotional dis orders require psychiatric referral.
