Three Cases of Hemophilus Parainfluenzae Meningitis

Three cases of meningitis caused by Hemo philus parainfluenzae are reported. A review of the literature relating this organism to neonatal disease is presented. The importance of con sidering this pathogen in serious infections in neonates and children is stressed together with its differentiation from Hemophilus influenzae.
