"In order to provide an affected child with the advantages of early diagnosis, the pre-school examination by his physi cian should include screening tests for this frequent defect of color vision.... The disadvantages of not having his color vision characteristics understood are peculiarly the child's; and it seems he ought to be given a 'fair shake.'"
