Scoliosis—Current Concepts

Early Recognition and Aggressive Treatment are Most Important

Not until the beginning of this century has helplessness and frustration given way to success and optimism in dealing with scoliosis. This difficult problem is a disease of childhood that can plague the adult for the remainder of his life, but can be eliminated by early recognition and safe effective treatment.
